Appointment of Non-Executive Director

 

Idox plc ("the Company"), a leading supplier of software and services to the public sector and industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Barbara Moorhouse as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, with immediate effect.

 

Barbara has more than 25 years of senior UK and international management experience in operating and financial roles, across the private and public sectors. Her recent executive roles include Chief Operating Officer of Westminster City Council and Director General at the Ministry of Justice and subsequently the UK Department of Transport. Prior to 2005, she held a variety of senior strategic and commercial roles at listed companies in Europe and the UK, including acting as Chief Finance Officer of technology companies Kewill Systems plc and Scala International NV.

 

Barbara is currently a Non-Executive Director at Agility Trains and at the Lending Standards Board. She is Trustee and Chair of Audit Committee at Guy's and St Thomas' Charity. She also sits on the Board of the West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group.

 

Her appointment continues the reshaping of the Idox Board following the appointment of Laurence Vaughan as Chairman and promotion of Andrew Riley to Chief Operating Officer. Furthermore, as notified on 16 December 2015, Professor Dame Wendy Hall has now left the Board.
